In the early 1900's it was a part of Hillsborough County and like St Pete Beach it the Spanish settlers and maps called it LONG KEY though now 2 different cities, ST PETE BEACH starts in the south on 1st AVE and overlaps TREASURE ISLAND with Sunset Beach Neighborhood on its south to the north 127th Ave at Johns Pass they both share the same early history and 33706 Zip Code. Long Key and St Pete Beach's southernmost Ave is 1st Ave, AKA Pass A Grille, St Pete Beach, and Treasure Islands' northernmost Ave is 127th Ave.
